We at Audio Systems Group Inc. makers of Summit Lecterns and Clear Sound products are changing our slogan from “Intelligibility by Design” to “Intelligibility Matters”. Intelligibility by Design focuses on products, but Intelligibility Matters is more a total concept. It includes attention on the environment, the operator, and the equipment, since all affect intelligibility.

Intelligibility – The capability of being understood. Intelligibility does matter. No matter what the meeting is about, meetings are held to disseminate information. If the information from the presenter is not understood (or even worse misunderstood), the time and money spent on the meeting is wasted. The attendees will become fatigued from straining to understand which leads to frustration and disinterest. Even worse, confusion and misunderstanding can lead to devastating consequences.
